GIOTTOS MH 1312-652

BARGAIN TRIPOD BALL-HEAD

I do love a bargain and this one cost me just £20 on eBay after making an 'offer'! This is a really good quality item and can hold 6kg camera/lens combo. The reason I bought this is because the Sony 200-600 lens is a heavy bugger and I don't want to take any chances.

THANKS FOR VISITING THE BLOG! Although I've always liked photography, I've never really spent a great deal of time on it - because I've never really had a great deal of free time! But now, as I get a little older and have a bit more free time and expendable income, I feel like it's time to take it a bit more seriously and see what happens.

I started this blog after selling my Sony RX10 IV and buying a Sony A7III outfit with all the top lenses. I have since gone back to the RX10 IV!! Yes, that's right - I've gone back to a bridge camera! There's a post explaining the reasoning behind all this in the blog (the main reason being that the full kit took the fun out of the hobby for me).

Needless to say, FUN is the most important part of any hobby and I will be eager to avoid any situations which result in me feeling under pressure, such as taking on my mates wedding, lol, or commissions or such like. I'll also shy away from any sort of competitions. Just like my painting hobby, I do it for my own pleasure and no one else's.

Another important thing about hobbies, is to make sure that you don't become a slave to any one. I have interests in motorbiking, painting, amateur radio and a whole host of other things, so they all demand a slice of time and it's the variety which keeps them all interesting.
